The young Eagles, who had been knocking out all formidable opponents one by one, took on the arch-rival Fenerbahçe in the final.

The hotly-contested final at the Avanos Ataturk Sports hall started with both teams matching each other basket for basket. After an unproductive first quarter that saw the Black and White trail by one, 11-10, Beşiktaş had trouble getting to the basket in the second and fell behind, 26-18, at the half.   

Fenerbahçe continued to hold the upper hand in the third stanza as it pushed the lead to 43-33 going into the fourth quarter. But the stubborn Eagles roared back to life in the final period and pulled to within four, 55-51, with 46 seconds left to play. Despite the late Beşiktaş rally, Fenerbahçe held on to win, 55-53, leaving the Black and White in second place.
