The competition took place at the Soner Coşan Sports Hall of Izmir Atatürk Stadium between January 30 and 31. 

In seniors category,  Mukaddes Ulusoy won the triple jump contest with a distance of 12.99m while Sibel Ağan clocked  7.78 in 60m race to become the Turkish Champion. Mukaddes Ulusoy also picked up a bronze in long jump with 5.74m.

In juniors, Hatice Akbaş captured two gold medals by winning the 400m and 800m races with the timing of 57.57 and 2:18.18 respectively. Bilge Z. Yıldırım came second in 60m with 9.26. Sena Hıdırlar (60m) and Yeliz Kartaş (shot put) both finished fifth.     

In Peewee category, our 1992 born athlete Nuran Çamur racked up 3259 points in pentathlon, which includes 60m, 800m hurdles, long jump, high jump and shot put contests, to be named the new Turkish Champion.
