After opening the game with an 8-0 run, the yellow and dark-blue home team got a succession of unanswered points from Birsel Vardarlı and Taylor to race to an 18 point lead at 30-12 by the end of first quarter.

While the Lady Eagles struggled to establish any kind of offensive presence, Fenerbahçe maintained its momentum in the second and, thanks to a flurry of jumpers by the hot-shooting American duo of Ajavon and Powell, pushed the lead to 46-22 at the break. The second half was not much different than the first with the home team dominating the play at both ends of the court to build a 35-point cushion after three quarters. Holding an insurmountable lead, Fenerbahçe eased the pressure a little in the final stanza but still ended up winning the game, 92-59.
